Automation for accounting and tax firms

Most accounting firms don’t have a work problem, they have a workflow problem. We remove the admin drag across onboarding, document chasing, job flow, and billing so you can deliver faster without lowering standards.

  • Client onboarding that doesn’t fall in a heap
  • Automated document chasing and reminders
  • Cleaner job setup, routing, and QA steps
  • Faster billing and less WIP leakage
Remote Australia-wide. On-site available (quoted separately).
What you get
Practical workflow improvements, not fluffy “AI strategy”.
Guardrails and human checks where it matters.
Fast wins first, then sprints.
Less admin. More throughput.

Common wins we deliver

1) Fewer follow-ups

Automated reminders and clearer client requests.

2) Less rework

Better checklists and handoffs, fewer “we missed a step”.

Where to start

Step 1

1) Triage call

We identify the biggest friction point in your workflow.

Step 2

2) Automation Audit

We map the process and rank the best automation opportunities by ROI.

Step 3

3) Implement in sprints

We roll out workflow improvements progressively so you see results quickly.

FAQs

1) What does the Automation Audit include?

You’ll get a clear picture of what’s happening today, where the bottlenecks are, and what to fix first. We’ll produce an automation backlog ranked by ROI, a recommended approach to tooling and integrations, and a practical 30/60/90 plan. You’ll also get a spec for the first workflow we can implement straight away.

2) How quickly can you implement?

Most firms can get a first workflow live in 1 to 2 weeks. After that we roll improvements out in short sprints so you see progress quickly, rather than waiting months for a “big bang” launch.

3) How does pricing work?

We start with fixed‑price entry points (like the Automation Audit). Implementation is then either fixed‑price per workflow, or delivered in defined sprints. If you want ongoing tuning and optimisation, we can run that as a monthly retainer.

4) What tools you integrate with

Usually we work with whatever you’re already using. Email, calendars, CRMs, document storage, job and workflow systems, billing, and practice tools. In the audit we’ll confirm your stack and recommend the simplest integration path, not the fanciest one.

5) Hallucinations and quality control

We don’t “let AI run the show”. Where AI is used, it’s there to speed up drafting and triage, not to make final decisions. We put guardrails in place and keep a human review step for anything client‑facing or compliance‑sensitive.

6) Privacy and confidentiality

We treat privacy as non‑negotiable. We keep data access tight, minimise what’s shared between systems, and design workflows so anything sensitive is checked by a human before it goes out the door. If you have stricter requirements, we’ll build around them.

7) Are you replacing staff?

No. The point is to remove the annoying admin, reduce follow‑ups, and cut rework so your team can spend more time on the work that actually earns money. Most firms use automation to protect capacity and improve turnaround times.

8) Do you offer on-site visits?

Yes, Australia‑wide and international. Most of the work can be done remotely, but if an on‑site workshop will speed up alignment and adoption, we’ll do it. On‑site is quoted separately.

If your team is busy, but the work isn’t moving, this fixes it.
